The current Victorian minimum feed-in tariff rate is 11.3 cents per kilowatt hour, as of 1 July 2017.

If you don’t use the electricity you generate from your solar power system, the electricity is fed back to the grid. Feed in Tariffs (FIT’s) are available as part of your energy retailer’s electricity plan and provide a credit per kWh. All electricity retailers must offer at least this minimum rate, but they may offer different packages and terms and conditions.

We encourage you to shop around electricity retails for the best electricity deal, some are offering up to 17c feed in tariffs. To find out more visit the Victorian Government website here.
